Thoughts from the CEO

Ok... Don't get used to this, not gonna happen often, (particularly because I HATE blogging,) but I feel the need to clear the air. There's been some trash talk flying around lately about Gutter Girls, more specifically GG Designs and how it's "wrong" to make money using the Bon Jovi name. I normally take the high road. Ignore those who judge others, especially when they have no clue as to what they are talking about. I DON'T DO CATTY!! ..but in this case, I feel it's time to set others straight as to who I am, what I stand for, and what I won't put up with. At the top of that list is self-righteous, cliches of the "I think I'm better than you" clique from high school. I didn't put up with it 20 years ago, I sure as hell am not putting up with it now.

We are all Bon Jovi fans, whether you've been a fan for 5 minutes or 27 years. I don't care if you have a blog, write fan fiction, (not that there's anything wrong with either,) or your cousin's girlfriend's best friend lives next door to Obie. It doesn't make you an official authority on the band, or God forbid... "Special!" ..but I digress.

I started GG Designs as a hobby. I was getting requests for things that I was making for myself and decided to post them.. offer them to the masses. I am hardly making a killing. lol Some orders I have lost money, and others broke even. I only do it because I enjoy it. Nothing else.

I am one of the most charitable people you'll ever meet. I'd give the shirt off my back to a stranger, and that's no lie. I have given money to the Soul Foundation, (Check their "Partners" page~ my name is there.) And I am always there to help a fellow Jovi Girl when needed. Not many people know this about me, because I don't go around bragging about it. I just do it.

I don't sit around on an invisible pedestal, hiding behind some self-proclaimed title, awaiting the Jovi masses to induct me into the Bon Jovi fan HOF... I actually TALK to fellow fans... bond with them. THAT'S what being a JOVI GIRL is all about!!
